Nepali passport holders require a visa for Thailand — there is no visa-on-arrival or visa-free entry for Nepali citizens. Since 1 January 2025, all applications must be filed online through the official Thai e-Visa portal (thaievisa.go.th). We file your Tourist Visa "TR" for you. Required documents: passport valid 6+ months, 3 passport-size photos, 6-month bank statement showing minimum THB 20,000 (approx. NPR 80,000) per person or THB 40,000 per family, confirmed hotel booking and itinerary (provided with your package), and confirmed round-trip air ticket. Apply at least 1 month before departure. Visa approval is decided solely by the Royal Thai Embassy, Kathmandu; fees are non-refundable even if refused. The visa is single-entry, valid 3 months, allowing a stay of up to 60 days. Separately, every traveller must complete the free Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online within 72 hours of arrival — we remind and help you with this.
The best time to visit Bangkok and Pattaya is November to April — Thailand's cool, dry season with sunny days ideal for island tours and sightseeing. May to October is the green season: hotter, with afternoon showers, but with better hotel rates and fewer crowds. The tour operates year-round.
Direct flights operate from Kathmandu (KTM) to Bangkok (BKK/DMK) on Himalaya Airlines, Thai AirAsia, Nepal Airlines and Thai Airways, taking approximately 3.5–4 hours. Round-trip economy fares range NPR 25,000–45,000 per person depending on season and airline. Book 4–6 weeks in advance for the best rates — our team assists with flight bookings once your travel dates are confirmed. Flights are not included in the tour price unless stated.
Travel insurance is not required for the Thai tourist visa and is not included in this package, but we strongly recommend it. Private hospital treatment in Thailand can cost lakhs of rupees payable up front. A basic policy covers emergency medical care, evacuation, trip cancellation, lost baggage and personal liability. Buy it before leaving Nepal — a policy cannot be purchased after the trip begins. We can recommend a Nepali insurer on request.
50% advance payment confirms your tour booking; the remaining balance is due before departure. Flights booked through us require 100% payment at booking. Visa fees are payable in advance at the time of e-Visa application submission.
